WHO ARE WE
Science_CECC is an organism with no lucrative goal to promote science in Charlevoix, in collaboration with the Centre d’études collégiales en Charlevoix.
Jean-Michel Gastonguay, father and president of Science_CECC, is an astronomy and physic teacher at the Centre d’études collégiales en Charlevoix since 1999. He is a bachelor in Physic and got a master in spectrographic images. He is passionate in astronomy since he is young.
Renaud Murray had studied natural science at the Centre d’études collégiales en Chalevoix and he is presently studying geological engineering at Laval university. Selected by Jean-Michel, who was his physic teacher, he works with Astonomie Charlevoix since the beginning. He is the animator for this summer.
Nadya Murray is a literature teacher at the Centre d’études collégiales en Charlevoix since 2002. Working in developing many different pedagogical approaches, her support in our activity is very precious, both in inspiration and in the language. Furthermore, her artistic talent is useful for our creation.
Gabriel Giguère is a chemical teacher since 2000 at the centre d’études collégiales en Charlevoix. Gold keeper of Sciences_CECC, he is the one that work on the financial aspect of the organism.
Sciences_CECC is composed of Jean-Michel Gastonguay (president), Gabriel Giguère (Gold Keeper), Nadya Murray (literature), Geneviève Laurin (biology), Philippe Poinlane (Mathematics) and Sébastien Savard (CECC direction)

Virtual Tour
The strolling at the speed of light has been created for the international year of astronomy in 2009. It is a reproduction at scale of our solar system. Furthermore, it is now possible to do it with a guide to learn much more about the solar system and the universe. A good way to mix nature and science!
